This weekend after attending the wonderful parade in Yakima. I drove out to a place called Imperial Gardens, it is a large fruit stand in Wapato. And well, I want to pass the savings on to you. I was able to pick up a box of Golden Delicious for $6.99 and a box of canning tomatoes for $8.50. The only thing different about the tomatoes was there were small imperfections in sight. Other wise the Roma or Beefsteak tomatoes were $9.99. A box of Gala Apples were $10.00. I believe this to be a good deal and it is a great way to stock the freezer for winter with tomatoes, just core and throw into a freezer bag.
