It's time for Movies on the River

Grab a blanket, pillow or lawn chair, movie lovers, and head for Columbia Park in Kennewick this summer for a series of movies the whole family can enjoy.Movies on the River summer series begins June 20 with Kung Fu Panda.
The free movie nights start at dusk, about 7:30 p.m., between the Playground of Dreams and the Miss Tri-Cities hydroplane monument at the entrance to the park off Interstate 82. Each film night also includes various activities for kids that change from week to week.Though some vendors will be on hand for snacks, it might be a good idea to haul a cooler full of pop, water and other goodies before settling down for the entertainment.
